An article I wrote on my return from Tehran in December 2006.
This article is anything but substantial, but it is easily the most widely distributed and read piece I have ever written. I have two people to thank for this, Anthony Sandford Hancock, who put me up to attending the Conference in the first place, and Sahib Mustaqim Bleher of the Islamic Party Of Britain/Mathaba, who published the article originally on Mathaba.Net.
Although a lifelong atheist, a profound moment in the small hours before I read my paper on the Nazi gas chambers led to a revealed truth, one of several I have experienced in my otherwise worthless life, but I didn't realise its true significance until after the publication of this article. Within a short space of time it have been reproduced on and linked to literally hundreds of websites worldwide. Not just Islamic and “far right” websites but anti-war and left wing websites.
Although I still have work to do, if I should be hit by the proverbial bus tomorrow, I believe this article will be sufficient to see both myself and Tony Hancock pass through the pearly gates for the small but significant part it played in halting the lunatic drive to war by the now thankfully passed Republican Administration of George W. Bush.
